Conconcreto highlights a positive close for the company after the first half of the year
Bogotá, August de 2022. Conconcreto obtained among its financial results for the second quarter of the year, a backlog 2,9 trillion pesos, with 63% allocated to infrastructure and 37% to construction. He also announced that he has $250.0 million in projects underway in the United States and $3.4 million contracted and pending execution in the areas of architecture and engineering.
In Colombia, significant developments include the awarding of the contract to the Regiotram de Occidente concessionaire to the company for the execution of civil works and the installation of the ANI Workshop Railway. These projects will have a nine-month completion period and a value of $9 billion pesos.
Likewise, Conconcreto, together with two national companies, carried out the process of recruiting BlackRock and AC Capitales as financial partners in the Doble Calzada Oriente highway concession. This provides greater solidity to the project, combined with the experience provided by the group that created this private initiative, which has an investment of $960 billion.
"We highlight a positive close for the company, with results above those achieved during the same period last year, driven primarily by increased construction and increased investment," reported Juan Luis Aristizábal Vélez, president of Conconcreto.
