Conconcreto contributes its experience to the evolution of mobility in Bogotá
- The Urban Development Institute (IDU) awarded the contract for the construction of an intersection at Avenida NQS (South Highway) and Avenida Bosa, which also includes the extension and widening of Avenida las Torres toward Avenida Bosa.
Bogotá is carrying out major road infrastructure projects to provide residents with improved travel times and improved quality of life. In this regard, the Urban Development Institute (IDU) awarded Conconcreto the public works contract for the construction of road infrastructure and associated public spaces at the intersection of the NQS (South Highway) and Avenida Bosa, where the expansion of Avenida las Torres to Avenida Bosa will also take place.
The project is primarily concerned with the Bosa interchange, a project that will have an approximate value of 181 billion pesos. It was also emphasized that the total construction period will be 41 months, encompassing three phases (pre-construction, eight months; construction, 3 months; and commissioning, one month). The expected completion and handover date is December 32.
Currently, at Conconcreto we have four projects underway for the Urban Development Institute (IDU) in Bogotá, such as Transmilenio Avenida 68 (group 5 and group 8) and Ciclovía 116, reaffirming our commitment to transforming cities, impacting mobility and the well-being of communities based on our extensive experience in civil engineering and what we have developed for other major cities in Colombia and the region.
